Changes in Women Organism after Pregnancy and Birth

From the earliest days of pregnancy a woman’s body undergoes profound changes. During pregnancy, the body exercises a series of adaptive processes, all they are aimed at ensuring the growth and development of the fetus. At this period at the level of the central nervous system runs a complex of mechanisms directed to preserve the constancy of the substances in the body of a woman. İt is extremely necessary for the normal development of the fetus.

Physiological changes in the organism of pregnant woman:

  • First there is an increase in blood volume, and as a result, improves blood flow to vital organs such as the liver, kidneys, endocrine glands.

  • Big changes are happening in the endocrine system, as pituitary hormones play a big role in changing the metabolism of pregnant women. The thyroid gland during pregnancy increases slightly. This development is only possible in a woman with a normal body weight initially and in the absence of hormonal disorders, lipid and carbohydrate metabolism. With the availability of source changes in the period of pregnancy, the further its course is unpredictable and can lead to the development of pathology of the fetus.

At the psychological level researchers identify some changes

Pregnant women often do not like loud music, and they start to prefer classical or meditative music. Many women report changes in visual perception, in particular, the emotional reactions to visual objects. Pregnant women begin to feel more deeply the beauty and harmony. Most pregnant women are more sensitive to touch and other tactile signals. Many pregnant women have a heightened sense of smell.

There are also noticed psychological changes during pregnancy which are manifested in the so-called syndrome of pregnancy. Syndrome of pregnancy is experienced by women on an unconscious level, has certain time limits, and is characterized by the following stages:

  • İn the first stage women often feel the affect of self-awareness pregnant.

  • The next stage of development of the syndrome of pregnancy is reflexive adoption of a new self-image. This stage is characterized by the recognition of physiological changes in the body. Since these changes are intense at the beginning of pregnancy, it takes some time to adapt to them.

  • Beginning with the period of 20-25 weeks, there is another problem that deserves special attention. The physiological changes that occur with the pregnant woman can often make it to a full sex life impossible that creates or increases the distance in communication with a man.

After the childbirth women’s physical health eventually comes back to normal and all the further changes concern psychological revaluation of values.
